Breast cancer is a challenge that impacts millions of families, including our own. Earlier this year, Christine Lynch — a beloved coworker, sister, and friend — was diagnosed with breast cancer. After two successful surgeries, Christine is recovering well. Her openness and courage remind us that support and community are vital on the journey to healing.
This September 29th, we are grateful to have Christine join us at the 35th Annual Basile Golf Tournament at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts. After serving as the chair of our golf committee and the lead organizer for this tournament for many years, this year she joins us to share her experience as a patient. Her resilience is an inspiration and a powerful reminder of why we continue this tradition—standing together, honoring those affected, and striving for progress in cancer care.
For 35 years, the Basile Golf Tournament has brought our company and supporters together for a common cause. Established to honor our Uncle Joe and all affected by cancer, the event is now a cornerstone of our commitment to supporting families confronting this disease.
Each year, funds raised at the tournament are directed to leading cancer research and care organizations. The combined effort of dedicated sponsors, staff, and participants makes a real difference in the lives of people facing cancer.
All proceeds from the Basile Golf Tournament directly benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund. These organizations set the standard in cancer treatment and drive cutting-edge research, offering hope to patients of all ages.
Contributions from events like ours provide essential resources for breakthrough research, compassionate care, and improved outcomes. This ongoing support ensures every patient receives the highest possible standard of treatment.
Although registration for this year’s golf tournament is closed, your support is still needed. Every donation, large or small. helps advance critical research, supports families, and brings us closer to a world without cancer.
We invite you to join us in this mission. Stand with Christine, our family, and countless others who face this challenge every day. Your tournament gift supports the work of Dana-Farber and The Jimmy Fund, and the patients who rely on them.
