Catania Oils Named Gorton’s “Outstanding Supplier of the Year”

AYER, Massachusetts…Catania Oils, leading processors and packers of edible oils including olive, vegetable, blended and specialty oils, today announced that it has been named “Outstanding Supplier of the Year” by Gorton’s Seafood.  Located in Ayer, Catania supplies oil to retail stores, restaurants and manufacturers. The company credits its success to the strong customer relationships its team forges and sustains.

Gorton’s Seafood, located in Gloucester, Massachusetts, created this award in 1999 as an annual Vendor Performance Program to recognize suppliers who consistently go above and beyond expectations. Today’s announcement marks the 10^th time that Catania has won this prestigious honor.

Each month, Gorton’s measures product quality, on-time deliveries, trailer cleanliness, R&D technical support and continuous improvements. The competition is open to all ingredient and packaging suppliers to Gorton’s.
